Religions theme

Observing religions, I noticed that there are a central "theme" to each religion, and the traditions, reasons, habits, etc are (pretty much) based on that theme.

What are the central theme for each religions?

For example,

1. Christanity - Love everyone
2. Muslim - total submission
3. Buddist - meditate
4. (asian religions) - mind body and soul?
5. American Indians - awareness of nature?
6. India - respect for all living beings ?
7. Jews - ????
8. Protestants - ????
9. Islam - ????

Excuse me if my assumption for a particular religions are incorrect and post a correct one and why you think its their (or your) theme.

This is only to serve as a basis of understanding what each religion "stands for", what are the major theme a religon is centered around, in hope to understand why one from a particular religion do what he/she does.

Note: This on only to serve as a board of understanding other religions, not to promote "superiority" or anything that might degrade or put one above another. So please keep the conversation clean.
