USA National Debts

The US are trillions of dollar into debt, the states are in debts.

The question is who do they owe the money to? Did the US borrowed money from itself? overextend itself? borrow from another country?

Whos the "enforcer" that comes to the US door and demand payments?

US would never get out of debt. It seems to get itself deeper and deeper into debt every year

The politicans are saying they would bring the US or the state out of debt, but never fully clear of debts.

I've been trying to understand how the US is doing this, especially when they go around the world and give away billions of dollar to Afghan and Iraq, The US is working to get itself out of debt and then gives away the money? what the hell is going on?
