Why Do We Believe In God?

try to think of these first before starting to explain who's god? what is god? how do you define him? and everything....
First think who brought the God concept, why do these people say there is a person who's controlling this world? why are we limiting everything to what he says?
If this ALLMIGHTY God is so powerful why cant he save the people who are suffering in this world? For example recently the people who faced the earthquake in iran, people who are suffering from HIV, people who dont have enough food statisy their hunger?
As people living in the 21st century we must not believe in such lame myths and thoughts...
Another thing now Jesus was said to have born in Jeruselum, and he said to those people he'll be the saviour of mankind, after he had passed away what good had he brought to the Jeruselum and arounding countries till now....I think the most fearsome clashes and wars are happening at those places at the moment......
I know most of the christians, muslims, hindus will have a simple answer for this. "at the end they will be brought to the heavens".....what bullshit.....ok fine if they were suppose to go to the heavens at the end why do they have to suffer so much to get there.....
Also these religions will have another explaination for the current situation of the world "these are all due satans work"......If God calls himself so powerful why cant he stop him, naturally if he cannot it means that satan is more powerful.....
I'm not a person who tries to discriminate the sayings of God and what people believe but i'm trying to think in reality vice.......so lighten up.......
