Don't you think more money means more freedom to be good or evil, when you like to? That is, to be behind good/evil, actually? That is, enough money oust any fear, and this way allow for freedom?
Ex.1: Rich guy can spend tons of money on charity, when for some people it may be aproblem to spend a dollar; on the other hand, he can fire thousands of people with a single circular, when he considered that meaures necessary.
Ex.2: I know a man (about 60 years old), colonel, who is now retired, but still works in the same military departament, as a civilian employee. Well, he says that now he can say to his co-wokers what he thinks without hiding his feelings. Because his pension is twice more than his salary, so he can leave any moment with no problems.
