Can ANYTHING exist without a cause of its existence?

Let me put out two categories, Being and Nonbeing. So, anything that qualifies as a being is one of those pesky 'anythings,' which have nothing else in common but their existence. Of course, the very terminology of 'thing' tends towards the discrete. (Set theory is so DIGITAL, don't you think?)

Now if you believe that God exists, unless you mean something else by 'be,' then God is one of those 'anythings' or equivalently He is, has being, exists, has the attribute of being or is in the category of Being rather than Nonbeing. So, God is included in my question--if you buy all that certainly.

You can answer my question Yes or No. It is of that form, but for points, I want more than that. If you answer 'No,' then I would stipulate that I agree that it follows that Everything (thing by thing and as a whole) has a cause of its existence. And no, a phoenix, 'being' a mythical bird, is not a being and is not in the category of Being, despite its grammatical qualification for that honor.
