Hi Everyone;
My girlfriend and I have somewhat of a difference of opinion regarding planning for today versus planning for tomorrow. What this breaks down to is this basic fundamental question: Is it better to live for today or live for tomorrow. My philosophy on this is as follows: Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow. With that philosophy in mind, I think it is more important to live in the here and now or present and not really worry about tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. But, she sees it differently by worrying about what her financial situation will be like several years down the road. I am not sure if she is right by worrying about things which has not even happened yet. But, despite of my difference in philosophy with her about this, I still try to accept and respect her position.
With everything revealed here, I am wondering what everyone else's thoughts are regarding this philosophical and personal issue. Is it better to make the most of today? Or, is it better to make the most of tomorrow? I actually see the two going hand in hand myself.
In closing, I look forward to reading everyone's comments to this thought provoking question.
