I've been making a few observations over the last little while in regards tot he cyclical nature of the universe as we know it. I've often heard people say history repeats itself and I for one think it quite literally does repeat itself until we as a species or as individuals find the correct path to follow in our lives.
This idea kicked off for me when I had heard about the passing of Micheal Jackson on Thursday June 25th, 2009.
If we make a comparison between everything happening now and everything that has taken place since JFK was elected, keep in mind there is a paradoxical effect in play.
In my opinion JFK was a man of the people, Obama was elected as a man of the people. JFK's election and assignation was a pre-cursor to Vietnam war the events that followed his passing, LBJ was sworn in as president while in office some of the decisions he made paved the road for Eisenhower to go full on into the conflict. Present day, G.Bush picked up where his dad left off, while in term G.Bush went to war and Obama is correcting this issue, fighting for the people of the US, just as JFK did.
The current state of the middle east where the US is involved, has striking similarities to the Vietnam war "Vietcong". A war to remove an unwanted force in the world "the Taliban"
Onto the one that kicked the thought off, Micheal Jackson passing, as compared tot he the passing of Elvis Presley in 1978. The king of rock n Roll and the King of Pop!
Now i'll admit I'm not up to speed on my american history, so please don't flame on this account. My intent here was to show the comparison of time lines and the cyclical nature of the universe. Does anyone else see the comparison? Can anyone add to this, such as key points in history as compared with today's events around the world?
