The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Christian churches in San Diego or good denominations/organizations?

Asked by harmono in Philosophy & Religion

I've been looking for a good church in San Diego for some time. I'm really picky I guess, but I can't find any that teach sound doctrine, and don't have a powerful pastoral heirarchy to tap all the enthusiasm out of being a Christ follower.  I'm looking for any kind of organization, perhaps even forming one of like minded people who believe in the New Testament concept of church.

There are too many traditions of men. What I have found so far are either really dynamic sermons, and lots of programs, but a lack of zeal for sound doctrine. Or on the other hand a cult like church with a strong teaching of doctrine, but no room for various beliefs, and lots of control.

I'm really discouraged about modern churches, I'm just trying to be obedient, and not neglect the assembly of the believers, but I'm about to stop going altogether, because I can't stand the circus atmosphere, and the controlling pastors. I think these pastors are good hearted people, but they are just locked in the traditions of men, and see their job as a way to make money while doing good works for people. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, but sometimes it seems like the Bible is being watered down, or there is too much control over the moving of the Holy Spirit. It's also dangerous I think to focus on what one person is saying and give him the pulpit. It's almost like idolatry.
