    Maybe you meant possible states at any one location, not counting the rule that that no woman can be in the presence of another man unless her husband is also present.
    which would be (64) combinations
    But it that's what you meant, then you already know that the number of such states is 64
    so I may be confused what you are asking.
    I listed states that are valid under the constraint that no woman can be in the presence of another man unless her husband is also present, where state includes people on each shore and in the boat
