Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were married in a Catholic church called Our Lady of the Valley in Canoga Park, California. Where can I find pictures of that church? The church (sometimes referred to as OLV) was torn down in the late 60's and a large brick church was put up in its place on the opposite corner of the property. If you can find any pictures of that original church, either on the web, or that you find and can scan and post on the web for a little while, it would be appreciated. The church was the first one built in the San Fernando Valley, built in the early 1900's (I think, or possibly in the late 1800's) and the inside had large, exposed wood beams.
I will increase the points to 500 if you can find any of the wedding pictures of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz that show even a slight, but recognizable amount of the church, church property, brick school, or parish hall in the back ground. It was their remarriage in June of 1949 that was in this church, not their first marriage of November 30, 1940.
Any advice where I can find such pictures would be appreciated, especially any of the wedding pictures of Lucy and Desi at the church.
Thank you.
Steve
