i recently bought the sony NW_E002 mp3 player .......the CD given to it is of a software named Sonic Stage

the problem is that the player is not playing mp3 files .....instead i have to convert the files in Atrac format to play them with the help of the software sonicstage ?

is there a way that i could play mp3 files directly and without converting them to Atrac format ...also tell me a bit abt ATRAC format ...

plz dont give links to loong user manuals of the mp3 player i dont want to read the whole 100 pages of pdf files :P ....just tell me that how to put mp3 files without converting it to the ATRAC format ....additional details are also welcomed ....
