With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. Help Needed Coming Up With an Algorithm

Hi,

I am creating a database driven lottery syndicate system (based on the UK lotto) within an ASP.NET website. The database holds:

*The name of the users in the syndicate
*Their 1st entered number
*Their 2nd entered number
.......
*Their 6th entered number.

When the actual lottery draw is submitted (6 numbers and a bonus ball), I want to check

*Which users have matched 3 numbers (excluding bonus ball)
*Which many users have matched 4 numbers (excluding bonus ball)
*Which many users have matched 5 numbers (excluding bonus ball)
*Which many users have matched 6 numbers (excluding bonus ball)
*Which many users have matched 5 numbers and the bonus ball.

It's driving me mad trying to figure this out, i've gone through loads of ideas in my head but with no joy yet. Any help here would be appreciated.
