- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Hello, I have a data table as the follows:
Employee ID: 118
Name: James
Location in the file: 1
Employee ID: 223
Name: Luke
Location in the file: 2
If we wanted to create a B-tree and B+-tree note, what would we keep in the nodes?
My assumption is that for B-tree we sort the locations, thus we keep the location numbers. Like: >>2<<
And in B+ tree, we sort the Employee IDs and names. Like: >>223|Luke<<
Is that correct? (I'm hoping so)
