Thanks. I realize I can open the file up in Word or WordPad. But when I do, I see all the RTF parameters. See sample below.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have taken over a project that uses RTF formatted text files. I have a bunch of text files that I need to understand what they actually look like. Furthermore, I need to edit the contents of the data. Is there a reader or interpreter that I can get? I'd like to open these files and have them display in a formatted manner versus just a bunch of RTF commands. I'm not sure even where to post this question. Thanks for any help you might give.

Rich Text Format was originally a Microsoft specification, but it is an open format that is used by many word processors to exchange text and format information in an application-independent way. Nearly all current word processors will read and edit an RTF file, and, like HTML, it can also be edited as plain text.
