I can't install Framework .Net version 3.5 on my work PC

Hi, I'm trying to install Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition on my work PC (it installed fine on my laptop at home) and it starts with n install of Framework .Net 3.5 but it just doesn't want to do it. In the middle of its installation, framework .Net 3.5 gives me an error message (See attached code snippet) and stops.
