C# Connection String Help

C# Web Apllication Connection String Error = System.Configuration.ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings is a 'property' but is used like a 'method'

The offending line is :

objConn = new System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("databaseConn"));

pls try the following statement.

SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["SecurityServerConnStr"].ToString())


and your config should be the following

<configuration>
      <appSettings>
            <add key="SecurityServerConnStr" value="Server=HicomNB\SQLExpress;Database=Testing;trusted_connection=yes"/>
      </appSettings>

...;

I miss semi colon at the end of the statement.. I repeat the statatement
