VB2008 User/Application settings

Hi.
I'm programming in VB .NET 2008 with Framework 3.5
I usually use a new settings file on each project to store application and user settings

What I want to know is a way to use this kind of information store, but I want the user's config file to be saved on a folder I choose.
I do not want this file to be stored at user's profile.
I want a kind of 'Application' settings (that is stored on program folder) but writable by the user.

First, have a schema on how ur Application Settings should look like. Then use XML to store and retrieve the values into that file. You can store this xml file at any location you want. You can use your API's to add, update, delete by any user.
