System.printing no found

Hi
i use Windows XP

I have installed  Net framework 1.1 2.0 3.0 and  3.5

In the Assembly list i only found System.Printer from Framework 3.0
But i need System.Printer from Framework 3.5

Why i can not see this????

System.Printing is still available in the .NET 3.5 framework... so I don't understand your question

System .Printing is available in .Net Framework 3.0
System .Printing is available in .Net Framework 3.5

they are different
in .Net 3.5 you have  the function LocalPrintServer.GetPrintQueue

in .Net 3.0 you have only  LocalPrintServer.GetdefaultPrintQueue

My Problem is that i can not import the .Net 3.5 System.Printing because i see only .Net 3.0 System.printing!!!

Are you sure that you have the right reference in your project ?
Do you build against the 3.5 framework (framework selector)

that is my question
in the reference i have only Version 3.0

under the directory

C:\Programme\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\v3.0

you see the System.Printing.dll


under the directory
C:\Programme\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\v3.5

here is no reference from System.Printing.dll !!!

Yes i have reference in my project but i can only see version 3.0

i have made a scan for system.printing.dll on my harddisk an i only found 1 File under .Net Framework 3.0

I working under XP.Is it possible that this only work under Vista????

No, it's supported under: Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003

But I don't think that there is a difference between the dll from 3.0 and 3.5 (they both use the same dll)

Ok i have now found the Problem

i have doing the following


 Dim Queue As PrintQueue = LocalPrintServer.GetDefaultPrintQueue

with this you only have the member GetDefaultPrintQueue



when i do this then it is ok
        Dim ps As LocalPrintServer = New LocalPrintServer
        Dim Queue As PrintQueue = ps.GetPrintQueue("", "")


then i have the GetPrintQueue



Ok thanks for your help i give you the points

but i have a another question
i will copy the printjob to a pdf printer

you now  how to do this?
