VB.Net Datagrid

We have a VB.Net 2003 winforms application.
We would like to have ability to select particular set of rows from a datagrid so that we could use information from the selected rows.
Is it possible to create a checkbox column in the winforms datagrid? or some other way to have similar functionality?

Please advise.
