How to enable application profiling in Visual Studio 2003 VC++ 7

Asked by DavidHands in Microsoft Visual C++.Net, Windows MFC Programming, Visual Studio .NET 2003

In Visual Studio 6 there was an option to compile with profiling information, it looks like this is no longer an option in Visual Studio 2003.  Is that true?  If so, any suggestions on how to profile a VC++ v7 MFC applications to identify what functions are eating up a lot of CPU time?

By the way, this is not .NET application if that matters.
