get selected value from DataGridViewComboBox Column

Tags: VB.NET Visual Studio 2005
Hello there,

I have a slight problem.
I have a DataGridView with 4 Columns, the last of them is a ComboBox Column.
The 3 columns are databinded with a BindingSource object, filled through a DataTable (tmpDt).
The ComboBox Column is also binded to another DataTable (tmpDt2).
Everything works fine up to here.
After i select some values from the ComboBoxes, i need to get the selections and update my DB (SQL 2005) with these values. The problem is that i havent find a way to retrieve those values!!

Originally, i used DGView.EditingControl and casted it to combobox..but this gives the value from the last edited combobox (if any edited)

Is there any known solution to this?
I also attach the code snippets to realise better what Im talking about

Thanks in advance
Kostas Lagos

To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is.
