Hi Guys, could any of you be so kind as to give me the step by step analysis of how to create a hello world application in C++ and why each step is there. I have just downloaded 2008 and before this have been reading a guide ( i must of read over 100 pages) and none of what i have read seems to be working.
the problem is i dont even know which type of project i want when it starts and it seem like so much code is added for you, i feel i can not continue unless i know the preset code and how to integrate my code into it.
so when i say step by step i literally mean from clicking "new project" in visual studio 2008
