I know that bringing of the subject of "my favorite IDE" borders on inciting religious warfare.
I am familiar with several of the products and know they have a large installed base. But I really do not know how established UEStudio is. The "level of establishment" is relevant to me because it implies the depth and breadth of support available, not only from the vendor, but from the user community.
I too am considering the spend, as my current license for Zend is not applicable to the upgrade, and it is a full purchase at a not insignificant price.
I am certainly expecting to take advantage of the free trial periods for evaluation.

I use eclipse/pdt and with the xdebug plugins and it seems perfectly decent - i do develop extremley complex software and it's been ideal to date.
zend7 is based on Eclipse just with their own plugins to provide their functionality.
I always liked ultra edit, but have an aversion to spending :P
Choosing an IDE is often down to trial and error to find one you are comfortable with. So i suggest do it's free trial and compare it's features and usability to eclips and so on.
