Installing emacs

I need to install Emacs on sparc unix server solaris 10.
Does anyone know which other packages are required so that Emacs will work.
After installing emacs is there anything else that I need to do?

You can download the binary package from:
http://sunfreeware.com/

Please remember to download all the dependencies packages from
thesame site, see the emacs-22.0.91 download readme page for details.

I installed emacs using the link from above http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/emacs-faq.html#Installing-Emacs.  

I typed:
$ /usr/local/bin/emacs hello
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

what is the issue.  Thanks

I typed DISPLAY:IPADDRESS:0

That solved the problem
