Question

Using TServerSocket in a builder C++ console app

I am trying to use a TServerSocket component in a Borland C++ Builder 6 application with little success. Using other (Delphi) postings I created the code below, which compiles and runs. Another device does indeed connect into this code on port 8000, but I never get the connect message printed out? Any suggestion as to where I am going wrong?

Also place a break point at the connect implementation and see if the program goes there...

That allows the connect to take place! Is there no way to resolve this allowing the socketserver its own thread, rather than having to kick the message processing?
