How do find out the controll variable for a Control ID

Hello

I have the following problem:
I capture a change in a RTF Field using the EN_CHANGE-Notification. It all works well. But how do I find out which RTF Field was edited? In the documentation (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb761676(VS.85).aspx) I found that the lparam is the handle to the control, but how do I get my control variable?
