Hello,
the attached Code Snippet doesn't validate the XML file, which references a Schema. the Document is loaded and can be accessed. How can I validate ist?

This is running on a local WinXP Pro machine.

I had the same problem. I solved after finding this PAQ: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Pascal/Delphi/Q_21217206.html

I went on and downloaded msxml4.0, imported it and used the code as in teh paq. the validation is done ok. the drawback is that you have to ship the msxml parser with your applicaiotn or have the user download and install it.

I don't know about any standard or non-standard or extended or whatever versions of the msxml 4.0. all I know is that the ms xml parser version 4.0 (from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=3144B72B-B4F2-46DA-B4B6-C5D7485F2B42&displaylang=en ) is good. it does the job well.
that is what I tested. I did not test any other msxml versions if they support validation or not. I just didn't have the time for it. you can try using bigrats comment from the second paq and see if it works out of the box.
but if you want something 100% working, then either ship teh msxml 4.0 and install it if it's not install, or ask the user to download and install if it's not installed.
