java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file

I was running some test cases in Junit under eclipse successfully but for some reason I started receiving the following message :

You have different version of class file which is incompatible with the
running JVM.

if you can, force recompile of all .java files - that schould help
