Migrating library files from PowerBuilder 7 to PowerBuilder 10.5

Zones: PowerBuilder Programming Language, Oracle Product Info, Oracle 10.x

Hi, I am new to PB 10.5. My problem is that when I try to open some library files I get an error telling me that they have been migrated but they need to be regenerated. So then I regenerate the file and this time I get a bunch of error messages eg.. undefiled variable. The strange thing is I have no problem opening these files in PB 7. Any Ideas why this is happening.
Another question related is does anyone know if a PB 7 compiled application would work on Oracle 10G.
