Printing from Powerbuilder Web Application

I have a requirement to print from the web application which I am developing in Powerbuilder 11. I know for the fact that Powerbuilder has not yet support printing from the web application.

Does anyone know how to print from the web application ?

Note: from the web application, there are no options for IE print

Hi Rosh,

PB11 could promt Print Dialog Box. Instead, it queues all the printing into inbuilt Print Manager which is not obvious to the users. It then sends/converts the document to the PDF format. The user then needs to open that PDF and print.

I found that if I point to the file name (default.aspx or anyother) then it enables the IE menu and address bar. This way, I could print the screen (standard way of printing the web pages. The only problem here is that I cannot print the page with a Datawindow as it has a fix size with scroll bar.

I spoke to Sybase about this. Unfortunately, they haven't got a proper solution.

farooq, lets c if we can help u get a workaround...

is there something that u can think of outta the box and maybe we cud try improvise on it...

didnt completely understand "The only problem here is that I cannot print the page with a Datawindow as it has a fix size with scroll bar."
