Hey guys,
                   I have made one class library in VB.net. It was yesterday and I did write half of the code and saved the file. Now , the file was saved to its default location. and now today when I opened VB.net and want tot finish my code then I  have no clue where to find that class library code.

I am new with programming, so please don't mind my naive questions. Can anybody please help?

VB should remember the location of the last several files that it wrote.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and find out where it is written; yesterday's project should be in the same root folder.

ohh yes I tried that an ddidnl find my project there. I found one folder with the same name of my project in
"Visual studio backup " folder but that folder was empty.

Now, there was one thing that I didn;t mention in last post that I saved my code on regular interval but I ma not sure that whether I had saved my  project or not. Now, if my code was saved then it should have been saved somewhere. and secondly my  laptop went out of battery and was an abrupt shut down. Do you  think that this could had been one of the reason  to loose the data??

If you know the file name you save under, you can look for it by opening the CMD prompt and entering:

cd c:\
dir myproj.vb /s
