Importing Illustrator CS files into Lightwave 3D version 8

How do  I import an Illustrator CS drawing into Lightwave 3D version 8?   The EPSF loader in Lightwave does not support Illustrator CS.  So far, I have tried to save my drawing in an earlier version of Illustrator but do not know how.   Any suggestions?

For some bizarre reason, Adobe decided to change how saving files works in Illustrator CS.
To save your illustrator CS file as an earlier version, you need to use Export, not Save As.
Go to Export, Legacy Illustrator Version, and choose the version you want.  
FYI, if your illustration contains text, exporting to a legacy version may make the text hard to edit.

Hi shafnguz,

I just tried Importing a .ai from Photoshop CS to LW8, and it works fine,
so maybe you can open the .ai file in Photoshop first then save it again from photoshop and Import it in LW8.
