How to convert to keyframe animation in 3D studio max?

As the .ive (osg plugin) exporter for 3D studio max does not support exporting i.e. clothing animation or some other special animation styles, I'd need to convert all animations into keuframe animation before exporting them.
I.e. I need to animate a fuse, which in max is done with helpers currently. But what I need is to convert that so that all the geometry changes in the fuse gets keyframed.

How / with which tool I can make keyframe animation from different kind of animations? The tool 7 solution should be able to "record" all the geometry, position or other viusal changes into keyframes even though they would have been made using some specian max-technique

Thanks a lot!
John Burnett's Bake script behind the link you provided, seems like exactly what we were looking for, but it doesn't seem to want to install.

I know a little about MaxScript, but it seems not enough.
It needs 3 other scripts to work (Avguard Extensions, BFDToolsCore  and jbFunctions) and I think I installed them all correctly, except avguard, but someone in scriptspot told me that its already implimented in Max after 2008. But If I try to make a button out of the bake script I get an error message saying "getPixels" can't be found.

I'm running Windows XP 32bit and 3ds Max 2009 32bit, system information is the same as with Seppoo, the guy who asked the original question.
