Direct X 8.1b for Windows XP

Hi everyone, i was wondering if you could tell me where i can get Direct X 8.1b runtime for my Windows XP machine, Microsoft do not seem to have a download on their website for it, cheers

As far as I know, it is only available as part of the most recent win xp service pack. For reference, take a look at this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?releaseid=40176&area=top&ordinal=7

if that doesnt work then get the SDK from the MSDN site and downlad it. Run setup and select custom setup and just instal the retail runtime uncheck any other option. Voila. The download page is below.
