SharpDevelop 2.2.1 is compatible with what free version of direct3d?

I have sharpDevelop 2.2.1.2648, an open source C# IDE. Do you know what direct3d version it is compatible with? Hopefully direct3d is free to download.

I am learning C# and the book comes with a version of direct3d, but it is not compatible with the lastest tested version of shaprDevelop.

I'm unsure exactly what you mean by "compatible" with sharpDevelop.

It's possible that you're running a newer version of the .net runtime engine than the directx that was packaged with the book, but DirectX should be compatible with an IDE.
