I would like to display the dimensions in pixels of the picture I am painting into a picturebox as follows:
Picturebox1.paintpicture PictureBoxSource.picture, (picturebox1.scalewidth- targetW)/2, (picturebox1.scaleheight-t
PicDim=Str(Round(Form1.sca
The picture does not fill the entire picturebox, and has a black "frame" around it. I want to display only the dimensions of the actual picture, not including the frame. I am able to display the picture correctly but cannot get the correct dimensions. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

PictureBoxes are laid out in twips. One twip = 15 pixels. Does that help? Maybe you can AutoSize the PictureBox (I can't remember off-hand if its the PictureBox or the Image control where autosizing is available). In any event, maybe you could manually size the box to the picture
By the way, an Image control takes less memory and resources than a PictureBox, and can have a transparent background to boot!
