X3Daudio_3.dll Missing

Hi all. I have just purchased the EA Sports/Black Bean game Sbk08. This game is designed for XP Sp2 & Vista. I have both operating systems but when I start the game in Vista I get the message game will not start, no X3Daudio_3.dll. And if I attempt to start it in XP Sp2 I get the message, Failed to Initialize Direct X.
This is very frustrating, Can anyone diagnose these startup problems. My PC is a Core 2 Duo E6750 running at 2.66Ghz while I have 2 Gb of Ram and a Nvidia GeForce 8600Gt Video Card. My Sound Card is a CMI8738/C3DX Pci Card about 3 to 4 years old. Is this part of my problem. ThankyouStart Free Trial
