You can return the original (scratched) CD to Activision and they will provide a replacement.
If you can't wait then you can go back to the same store that you got the first one and buy another copy. Take the scratched CD with you and try to convince *them* to send it back to Activision for you! Alternatively try to get a discount based on the fact you are a repeat customer!
You can go to your nearby COmputer store and buy a kit to repair scratched CDs. This kit basically Removes all Layers of your CD (depending on how deep you scratch is, and then replaces this by a new one. (the kit mostly includes: Sandpaper (or how u call it, the paper with Sand on it to smooth stuff), a kind of paste for polishing, a paste that acts like a "Filler" to fill in the small scratches created by the sandpaper)
I used this and it worked fine (dont be scared to further destroy ur cd. Remember its already destroyed.)
But if you want to return it to ACtivision after you have completly destroyed it with sandpaper, note that they might reject it, cause you created the scratches yourself, or they will charge you with the fee of a new CD (or even the fee of a totally new game)
This does not look to good guys.
