I am debugging a game developed by python, using a c++ engine. If there are bugs in an engine, how do I step into the c++ code?
I tried to use gdb, however, I can not go to the game window to use the mouse to reproduce the problem. The debugger forbid the mouse to going to the game window.
How do people resolve this type of problems? Thanks!

you need to set up the debugging environment before starting the game...
Set a breakpoint in the 3D engine / C++ engine's DLL on the DLLMain...
First time into the DLL, it'll break
But you have to do this prior to running the code.
Hope this helps,
