I tried deleting the profile, and that didn't help. I've since cleaned up emails in both the Blackberry and Outlook and seem to be back in synch. I'm wondering if there is a way to reset your Blackberry so that it is starting from scratch as if you are setting it up for the first time. I thought deleting the mail database would do that but it didn't.

This sort of problem is often caused by a corrupted MAPI profile. Delete the user profile, restart, and then recreate the outlook profile. That should take care of it.
