Have an on-site Exchange Server 2000. Want to redirect mail for an Exchange server account to the Blackberry. Installed and configured the Blackberry Desktop Redirector application. Application always shows as Disabled, and status is "verifying forwarding address" Have spoken to Blackberry support a few times, with the main suggestion being to uninstall and re-install tha desktop application. I have now done this twice with the same results. The uninstall included elimiating all references to the Desktop application and RIM in the registery and folders.
Desktop is a WXP Prof with SP2, using Outlook client. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Working with BB tech support, finally resolved this issue by using a different application from BB, called "Mail Connector", which basically provides an interface via BB Internet WEB mail. This application is installed on the users desktop, and does forward Exchange Server mail to the BB device. Latency is about 2 -5 minutes.

It was never really determined why the Desktop Redirector did not work. One thought was possible delays due to the fact that this site is using a mail relaying service (all outbound email gets delivered to a relay service, which then forwards to it final destination).
Had to use Internet Email with the Mail Connector application. See these links for info and setup:
What is the BB Mail Connector
