Update BES to recognize new Exchange Server WITHOUT wiping/re-activating user account & handheld
So we've brought in some new Exchange servers, and we really don't want to delete or re-activate accounts. We're moving mailboxes from one server to another server and not doing anything to the BES server. We're running BES 4.0 and Exchange 2003.
Would a simple reboot do the trick? We can't test this at the moment due to production hours, but seems logical. Or do we just have to wait for BES server to pickup the AD changes. A special dance to seduce the box into cooperating? All advice is appreciated.

User mailbox moves are automatically detected by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, every 15 to 30 minutes, when it scans the Global Address List (GAL) for updated user information. You can immediately notify the BlackBerry Enterprise Server of a moved mailbox by running handheldcleanup.exe utility with the -u switch. For more information, see KB-00140.

thats right! i forgot it polls the GAL. i like it when things work automagically :)
