Thats what I was thinking but when I accepted those changes the old contacts were still in the list.

Browse All TopicsI have a user who has two seperate contacts lists in his outlook profile, one for work related people and one for personal stuff. As this is a work blackberry he would only like his work related contact list to be synchronized to the blackberry and as of right now it is synching both. He previously had a 7100 that we upgraded to a 7105 this functionality to only copy the work contacts was available for the 7100 so im sure it should be for the 7105. I am just not sure how to do it.

Make sure the folder you want to use has the correct set of contact.....and does not include the old ones.......the make sure that the contacts in the PIM are pointed at the right folder....then, before you sync the handheld again, hook it up (cancel a sync if it starts) to the desktop and go into the backup tab in desktop manager, click on "Advanced and clear the contacts database....then sync again.
As JConchie mentioned your work contacts on Outlook may now include all the personal contacts as you most likely had it set to sync instead of export only.
I would check to see if your current work contact list is still correct on the PC, if it is wipe the contacts on the device. Once you have done this make sure your IntelliSync settings are set to Export on the PC (just to make sure you don't delete contacts from the PC). Once you resync the contacts should be correct. Once synced change the Export setting back to Synchronize.

First make sure that each contact list is in a seperate folderin Outlook....then go into the Intellsynce tab of the desktop manager, then configure PIM, select contacts, select "outlook", click the browse button and make sure that the correct (work) folder is selected....if it is not, add it to the sync list and then delete the other folder.
