i have made the neccessary changes and yet it is still not working :(
i have gone ahead and did the following.
i confirmed that the BES account was set to logon to each service and i restarted each service.

i am recieving the follwoing error when syncronizing to the BES; i also have confirmed that BES and Exchange are using the same cdo.dll.

You are having permissions issues.
Check your Blackberry log files. The BES admin account will need Send As, Receive As, and Administer Information Store permissions in three locations. On the server, mailbox store, and the public folder store.
