Blackberry server alternative (open source)

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if there's any Blackberry Server alternative, a cheaper solution or Open Source.
I've been reading about Funambol, but it's not totally free.

My idea is to offer to my clients (small/medium businesses) an affordable alternative to expend thousands in Windows and blackberry server licenses.
