Unable to activate blackberry on new BES install

Hi, I purchased a BES license this week and installed it according to the instructions here:
http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/28708-exchange_2007_bes_install_guide.html

The RIM website is ridiculously slow and I can't get anything to load, so hopefully those are correct. Installation went smoothly. Now I am trying to activate my first device. I add the user (me) to the Blackberry Manager, it sends me my activation password. When I enter the password in the enterprise activation window on the device, it just sits there 'activating...'

I do receive the EPT message, but nothing ever happens beyond that. In the Blackberry Manager it just says 'initializing'.

One thing I noticed is there is no PIN in my user in the BES software. I've looked around and I can't seem to find a place to add it. Does this get added automatically when the device successfully activates?

Anyway, I'm new at this BES thing, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Start Free Trial
