Hi, the first thing to always try is restarting the BES. If this fails check the BlackBerry database for errors by performing the following:
1. Stop the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services.
2. Open a command prompt window and type osql -E and press Enter.
- Type the following commands in the specified order and press Enter after each line:
1>use BESMgmt
2>go
1>dbcc checkdb
2>go
Post back if any errors are found.

Download the lastest service pack from here - http://na.blackberry.com/e ng/support /downloads / #tab_ddet ail_subtab _software
This should recreate the missing service and allow the other services to start.
