How do you set IT Policy in the Blackberry Enterprise server to allow images to be view in email on a blackberry bold

There are a couple of rules, but by default it should be enabled.

The rule you're looking for is: "Disable manual download of external images", which is located in the "Email Messaging" policy group. Default setting is "false", meaning a user by default is enabled to download images manually.

You should also check that the "Disable rich content email" IT policy is set to "false" (double-negative, meaning it's true)

Thank you for the feedback. I have checked the IT Policy and as far as i can see there is not email Policy within it for me to set the settings you indicated. The version of BES we are currently using is 4.1.4.15. Would this have been a default in the IT Policy or is it one i should have created

Ahh ok, that explains a lot! HTML email is only available with service pack 6 and you're on SP4!
Download and apply the latest service pack with maintenance release and you'll get images and html email down to your bold!
