They are directly under his inbox, I also thought that may be the cause but checked that yesterday.

Browse All TopicsI have recently activated a blackberry for a first time user, he was previously a Treo user.
One I gave the blackberry to him he asked if he was able to file messages on his blackberry into folders. I said sure and went to show him how to do this, only none of his outlook folders were showing, not even his inbox. I went to e-mail settings and folder redirection and this only shows "Default" where it should show the users mailbox and all his folders. I have removed him from the BES and added him back on. Resent service books, turned off wireless reconcilliation and turned on again and no joy - its still only displaying default. I have also tried selecting folders for redirection on the BES itself and they still do not show up. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this? all other blackberrys that I configured are fine - they all show the folders.

Can you see the folders under the choose folders for redirection option in Blackberry Manager? If you can see the folders there you can select all the folders that you want to be seen on the blackberry device prior to activating the phone on the BES server. If the user is activated and then you select the folders he will see only the new mail arriving in the folders.

Are his folders under his inbox? or are they part of a PST or external mail archive?
