Thanks, do you know what the difference between the BB Browser and WAP actually is?

On our Blackberry devices, we have the default Blackberry Browser application and also a WAP application that goes straight to the carrier network.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? I know they are both used to access websites, but is there an inherent difference between how they work and their cost?
Also, I understand that the MDAT log will show web usage of the Blackberry Browser, but is there any BES log that will show usage of the WAP application? I need to find out the usage of somone's WAP, but am not sure where to check?

There are 3 browsers that can be on a BlackBerry device.
1. WAP - Basic cell carrier internet. Most phones have this.
2. BlackBerry Internet Service - This will access the internet using RIM's infrastructure.
3. BlackBerry Browser - This will access the internet using your corporate internet where the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is installed.
I do not know of any log for WAP browsing, although you can disable it using an IT policy. This way they will always use the BlackBerry browser and you will have a log of all activitly.

I don't think you can do it natively, however you can install a third party app like Mini-Monitor which can keep track of that for you.
Otherwise you will probably have to check with your cell provider.
